There are different versions of the encoder, which vary in shaft shape. Some units have a knurled-shaped shaft, while others have a D-shaped shaft. Since we only offer knobs and encoders with a D-shaped shaft, we have assembled a set that includes both components to enable an encoder replacement for all versions. Technical skills, particularly soldering, are required for replacing the encoder. A detailed installation guide is included in the set.
